Location

The baronial castle of Bitritto is located in the main square of the town and dates back to a period between the 11th and 16th centuries. During some renovation works, archaeological remains of a Roman villa (1st-3rd century AD) were found.

Today the space is embellished with pointed arches and wonderful decorations. The municipal library, the council chamber and the stately hall complete the backdrop for a perfect cultural event.
